My team won again. 3 - 1. We dominated. One freak goal went in for them, but I figure that is good because, in the long run, it might keep us in the Middle Division for tournament.

We took lots of shots on goal, some went in, some were just a little bit wide, and some hit the post. It would be safe to say that the goal post was their best defender. I even ran into a kid and kept him on the ground while my defence cleared the ball from my box. It was a thing of beauty.

Next game, 27 September, Tuesday at 6:30 pm. Outside turf fields outside of the RB.

My soccer team won last friday. 3 - 2. It was great because we started out playing a man down but we still scored some goals. Then when 2 of my other players showed up we at least had one sub. We are playing on the shorter field so it is 7 on 7. We only had one sub and they had 2 or 3 but we still beat them. And the only reason that they scored those 2 goals was because my team got tired and made some minor errors. Had all my team been there, we would have had at least 3 subs and the other team wouldn't have scored any. So, basically, all I'm saying is that my team is going to rock this semester.

I got Issac S., D. Ramos, Ramos's brother, R. Blick, R. Wixom, Jimmy D., Dan S., Dave M., Jeff H., and a kid named Chad. We are playing the middle division also, so the team we are playing are going to be a little bit more challenging. But that will be ok, since my team is good.

Our next game is this Saturday, the 17th, at 10 am at the Practice fields behind the new Student Athletic building. If you are in the immediate area (or even if you are not) come to the game.

THEY DID IT !!! I knew they would. The U.S. National team qualified for the 2006 World Cup in Germany. They beat Mexico 2-0. I'm going to love next summer, one solid month of soccer.
